  • We offer both long-term and short-term traffic control plans to fit your project needs. Additionally, if you need permanent striping plans, roads or parking lots, we can also design those. You can always reach out to us at info@precisiontrafficdesigns.com to see if we can accommodate your needs.

  • Generally, short-term traffic control plans are a single page. Unless the project requires closing 3 lanes or more, requires multiple phases, or the project itself spans multiple streets or blocks, we should be able to fit it on one sheet. If a project can fit on one sheet, that is how we will design it.

Long-Term traffic control plans are generally 2-3 pages minimum due to the additional details for barrier design, temporary traffic signal positioning, etc.

  • There are a few reasons: the city you’re working in may require it, the project may be complex and not fit within a standard plan, or maybe you just want peace of mind. Having a licensed engineer design the plan helps ensure that the plan is right for the project. Manuals like the WATCHBook are great for the basics, but there’s no reason to guess or make assumptions when your team’s safety is on the line.

  • We don’t list expediting fees on the pricing page because there’s no guarantee that we can rush your plans to meet your deadlines. However, if you need a quicker turnaround, please reach out to us at info@precisiontrafficdesigns.com and see if we can accommodate it for you. If we can, a 20% increase to the price will be added.

  • This is less about the complexity on our end of the design and more about the preferences of the city approving the installation. Setting up barriers and restriping roads needs to be exact, so we like to account for that by offering a second round of revisions free of charge.

  • Currently, we only have engineers licensed within California. However, if you enjoy working with our team and have work in other states, let us know! We are always looking to expand how and who we can help.
